Noticed at the end of the Summer last year that my A/C unit was struggling to keep up with the hot Texas afternoons… Well beginning of this summer it was obvious, I had an issue. First thing that goes through my mind is oh my God this is going to cost me a lot of money! (I’ve heard horror stories of company’s really screwing you). After talking to a buddy, he recommended MAK Comfort heating and Air-conditioning service located here in Santa Fe. I called at 9am and spoke with Steven. (Come to find out he is the owner of the company). Steven said he was headed to another job but love to help me out if I could wait for him to arrive. He said he could be at my house between 2pm and 3pm. At 2pm I got a call from Steven that he was on his way to my residence. At 2:15pm he arrived and immediately started diagnosing troubleshooting of my system. Within 10min he found the issue – discussed with me the option to rectify it.. which was simply adding a small amount of freon.

So to wrap this up Steven and his teammate Jayden were very professional and open and allowed me see exactly what they were doing.

And my biggest fear of what it would cost —- well I was shocked at how reasonable the price.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND MAK HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING!!

My new AC started to not cool the house. It’s hot and every company is busy but Steven was at my house immediately and solved the problem and it was covered under my warranty/maintenance agreement. He had both units purring within an hour. The culprit was a snake wrapped around the motor To the condenser outside. I will continue using this new business as they pride themselves on Professionalism.
